Panasonic Kx- T7730, Transferring Calls

Hi everyone,
Today I would like to share with you on how to use a Panasonic KX-T7730 phone.This tutorial is simple and will guide you through certain simple but important function of the phone that you might be interested to know.You may skip all the long-winded story and scroll to the Steps part for all you need.
Today, out of sudden I receive a call from my boss to take over a place as her personal assistant.Her personal assistant is on leave suddenly so I have to take over her place temporarily.
As her personal assistant, I need to make calls for her; call for a meeting; make bookings; filter phone calls; and make appointments.I have no idea how to do the transferring work as I was a scientist sitting in the lab and right after one minute I need to work as a personal assistant.
So I have no idea but to read up the manual and searching from the internet on the basic things I need to know.I find out that what I needed to do most is to pass a line.

So here are the steps:


Steps:
1) To transfer a call from an outsider to someone ( my boss in this case):
- answer the call
- Ask the caller to hold on, press “transfer” and call (my boss in this case)
- talk to your boss and inform her about who is calling
- if your boss agree to answer the call, tell her that you will pass the line to her now and hang up the phone then they will be able to talk to each other.
2) What if your boss do not want to answer the call?
- Referring to the first step, if your boss do not want to answer the call
- press the line which is flashing (eg.line number one), and talk back to the caller that your boss is not free
3) What if your boss want you to make a call for her?
- Call the target
- tell them your intention
- ask them to hold on and press “ transfer”
- dial the number of your boss
- tell her that the person in on the line and hang up
